After sharpening their knives on the Swedish music scene, the Ramblers have grown out of the garage rock mould into a rock n’ roll orchestra. With a monotone punk pulse they charge into the future, whilst not forgetting the past. Patti Smith, The Stooges, Pugh Rogerfeldt, Joy Division, Hawkwind and Robert Johnson are constantly present when Rowdy Ramblers spray their new blood upon the Swedish music scene.
Blessed by the Tide Turn is timeless. The music hits you from below, towards the stomach and the heart, with the feeling that it wants you to crash, implore you to get back up and dance, just to knock you down again!

Rowdy Ramblers were formed in 2002 by Erik Bystedt, Olle Belfrage and Tompa Ekesiöö. During the writing of Blessed by the Tide Turn, Gareth Smith (Raging Speedhorn) became the fourth member.
Previously Rowdy Ramblers have released the 7” single “The Midnight Hipshaker” and the 10” ep. “The Maple”. Blessed by the Tide Turn was recorded at Studio Kobra and produced by Konie.
Blessed by the Tide Turn will be released on January 30th 2008 through Svedjebruk anddistributed by Warner Music Sweden in Scandinavia.
