AMOK started as a freestyle/spoken word collective, but has now evolved to a cohesive group consisting of Porno as rapper and the producer Spunk.
Svedjebruk stumbled upon this talented duo at the beginning of the fall of the dog day age that was 2007. It was love at first sight.
Porno has previously released albums by himself as a solo artist and with the group E.U.W.W and featured on numerous Swedish underground hip-hop releases. He has preformed on venues such as the Hulftsfreds festival, Beach break live festival and as contestant in the final phase of Battle SM.
Spunk enjoys sitting in his cottage concocting beats, and has produced tracks for Kung Henry and Richard Reagh. He is also, under his birth name, a member of the indie band Ironville.
AMOK will release their debut album on Svedjebruk in 2008. As we close in, more news will follow…
